The LFAA periodical newsletter, called “The Noos”, is published four or five times a year, and distributed free to members. Recent issues of “The Noos” other the most recent are also published on this Web Site.
Material contained in an issue of The Noos typically includes:
- LFAA National President’s report on recent developments - particularly in relation to policy decisions and their emerging consequences
- Information on LFA Branch activities and meetings
- Submissions on policy to Ministers and Parliamentary enquiries
- Letters from the LFAA to Ministers, other politicians, and senior public officials
- Media releases by Ministers, departments, and other government authorities
- Relevant articles in the media dealing with family law issues
- Relevant material produced by other fathers’ groups
- Commercial information that may be of value to fathers in relation to their family responsibilities, and
- International developments in family law and practice.
The latest copy of the Noos, the official regular newsletter of the Lone Fathers Association of Australia, is only available to members of LFAA (join here). Archived copies of previous issues of 'The Noos' can be viewed by all website visitors.
'The Noos' is produced bi-monthly. Publication dates are December-January, February-March, April-May, June-July and August-September.
Members, readers and other interested parties are invited to submit articles for publication in 'The Noos'. All items for inclusion should be forwarded to reach the National President by the last day of the month preceding the next edition. Copy will be checked and every effort made to ensure the accuracy and suitability for inclusion. Letters and articles can be forwarded by several methods:
